Recent project achievements:
  • Designing a multiannual senior leadership programme for the senior leadership of the Lobachevski State University of Nizhni Novgorod, one of the main research universities in Russia
  • Advising the University of Vilnius on its governance and management reforms
  • Providing an external assessment to the University of Gottingen on its quality (deans of studies)
  • Designing a benchmarking exercises on e-learning for a group of eight universities
Some of our senior experts include:
•    John Brennan currently Professor of Higher Education Research at the Open University where he also directs the Centre for Higher Education Research and Information. A sociologist by training, his main research interests are the inter-relationships between higher education and other social institutions, including the implications for policy, governance, management and leadership within institutions.

•  Peter Gaehtgens has worked within various international academic and scientific societies and associations and has received a number of international awards and distinctions for his work.

•   John Goddard, emeritus Professor of Regional Development Studies at Newcastle University UK.Internationally John has been academic leader of an OECD programme now published as Higher Education and Regions and has also led several reviews of regional engagement by Finnish Universities sponsored by the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council.

•  Peter Scott, Vice-Chancellor of Kingston University, former Pro Vice-Chancellor for External Affairs, University of Leeds, former Professor of Education and Director of the Centre for Policy Studies in Education after a successfull career as Editor of the Times Higher Education Supplement.

•  Jennie Somerville, experienced academic leader with a proven track record of strategic policy development and delivery of most aspects of university management at executive level.  Considerable experience of project management and evaluation in the UK and internationally.

•   Frans van Vught, expert in higher education policy and management. He has published widely on these issues. Consultant for many international organisations, governments and universities, he holds several academic awards.
