  • ESMU & UNESCO-IIEP have organised several distance course on university-enterprise co-operation in the East Mediterranean region (Autumn 2000), in Central and East Europe (Spring 2001), in Asia (Spring 2002/2004) and English speaking Africa (Spring 2003). This distance course was organised in five modules on
    • Strategic management of university-industry relations
    • Management of interfaces
    • The management of finance
    • Personnel management
    • Development of an action/project in the area of university-industry linkages
  • Partner in a TEMPUS project on university-enterprise cooperation in Hungary (1998-2001)
  • Survey on university-enterprise cooperation in Central and Eastern European countries (1996) and produced a handbook on this subject (1997)
  • Seminars on university-enterprise cooperation and partnerships in Higher Education
  • Two surveys on policies for continuing education in European universities (1992-1993) -  MEET project.
  • ESMU assisted the European Commission with the management of the COMETT programme (1987-1994). The programme aimed to develop partnerships between universities and enterprises through student placements in industry, exchange of personnel in the field of technology transfer. Some 203 UETPs (university-enterprise training partnerships) were set up in the context of the programme.
